A Look Back at The Celebrity Traitors Finale – A Remarkable Finish!

Did Alan Carr play a blinder? Or did the loyal contestants simply perform exceptionally – I mean sensational terribly? Discussions will rage through digital feeds for some time, but either way the victor of the debut – and likely not the final – season of The Celebrity Traitors is the deceptive Alan Carr.

When first anointed by the presenter, viewers assumed he wouldn’t last even sixty minutes. Nor did he. “I’m unwell. I suffer from a perspiration issue and find it impossible to maintain a secret.” Moreover, he is incapable of whisper or recollect if he had secured a shield.

Surrounded, however, by several of the least astute players of the game for quite some time, he managed to succeed, evolving into the role with alarming simplicity. He finished with a dramatic touch, bursting into partially insincere weeping about how difficult it had been for him to bear the murderous burden.

The two surviving loyal players, hurried to console him (“It was destroying me internally!”). At home, many envisioned upturned glances and shouts.

The Ultimate Face-Off

In the beginning of the last episode, there had been five left competitors of the initial nineteen. Following a final group mission, featuring a locomotive, £20,000 in locked boxes, keys and clues dispersed throughout the carriages, and two chain-wrapped coffins (“I assumed control a bit there,” remarks one contestant of the unwrapping. “Since I was willing to lose a finger”), they convened for their final discussion.

Two contestants submitted their choices for another player, regardless of the historian’s impressive record of logically guiding himself to every incorrect decision imaginable. I hold strong in my view that that contestant would have made the most superb deceiver, but as a loyalist he was catastrophic.

He succeeded to choose a fellow participant at the meeting, nevertheless, and she was rightfully eliminated finally.

Heartbreak and Reconciliation

Now we are four. I can hardly bear to write about what occurred afterward. One contestant … experienced a doubt. An instance when he doubted his closest ally. A standout love stories of our or any age, between the largest individual and the smallest figure on the screen, the rugby player and the problem-solver, staggered under the impact as the uncertain player revealed his last vote to show his best buddy’s name.

The accused stood firm – he is not built for it – but were it possible, he would have. “But I love you,” the friend said, despairingly.

The ousted contestant departed, the surviving pair thought they were safe and subsequent to an activity featuring hurling satchels into a inferno, the three chose to finish the game.

Being the only last betrayer, Alan was announced as the victor and claimed the full prize pot for the youth oncology foundation. But the most important thing is that when the emcee guided the group to a gathering on the fortress stairs, amends was instant.

Farewell to the Cast

I shall, together with the over thirteen million other audience members, long for each one. (Excluding two contestants who lacked the occasion to achieve a lot, and a different who never apologised for bungling a certain mission.)

I am going to regret the loss of the intense anger of a certain contestant, the Shakespearean sorrow of another, the utter inability of another participant to interpret events without self-reference.

I am going to feel the absence of a certain player’s suspicion of long words, a pair’s humor, a performer’s pure charisma, a musician as the embodiment of everything that remains good in this imperfect reality, a veteran host as the small screen’s final performer, a kind-hearted player and the relentless avuncularity of a cherished personality, together with all the last-round players.

Most importantly I will pine for the grace and elegance of an individual participant, so remarkably majestic even when shouting into a hole or farting in a shack. As the presence below the emcee’s tresses highlighted on many occasions, you were, primarily, awful at the game. Yet you proved wonderful, exceptional diversion.

The Celebrity Traitors can be found for watching at present.
